10-day outlook for NZ
A big high pressure zone sits in the west Tasman for almost the whole of the next 10-days, deflecting lows that form in the north Pacific well to the east. Although rough weather affects Fiji, Tonga etc, most of NZ will just get anticyclonic weather, and in some cases extra hot temperatures, before cooler autumn temperatures finally take over in the last 10 days of March.

10-day outlook for Australia
Over the next 10 days most rain is still in the NT area, with both the NW and the NE developing low pressure systems. The Coral Sea may see cyclonic developments around the new moon, before drifting into the Pacific and petering out, and the Pilbara region gets rain building in about 10 days. So what State capitals will get it?
