Isobaric Maps 1 - 30 June 2012

FRIDAY JUNE 01, 2012

These maps are estimated one month ahead, based on moon cycles. They should be correct in trends to within a day and have often been assessed as 95% accurate.

The use of them is to plan well ahead for high and low pressure systems arriving, and for stronger winds depicted by closer isobaric lines.

You will see how this approaching high pressure system at present west of NZ will be blocked, and probably not manifest for about a week. High pressure may not sit over NZ until around the 7th, and then not last long.

As can be seen, southerly systems in the second week may please ski operators.

Cost: 12NZ
